The new DESIGNA generation of entrance control terminals stands out not only due to its clever and modular design but also due to its modern, cutting-edge technology. The positioning of the operating elements and a user-friendly touch display guarantee simple operation and, therefore, a smooth parking experience. An additional display is available for displaying individual digital content.
Now you can display your media content, e.g. dynamic pricing developments, occupancy data, routing directions, or advertising, on the additional TFT color display according to client wishes. A new way of communication in parking.
The new DESIGNA generation comes with a single board computer based on an embedded Internet-of-Things controller and transforms the DESIGNA IN/OUT on a brand-new level. The single board computer will significantly enhance the performance and speed of the device compared to older devices. The on-board computer is also highly efficient, providing a competitive edge when it comes to saving power.
The new DESIGNA IN/OUT devices have an entirely new interface design. One of the major changes is the touch display functionality vs. the former hardware buttons with only one single function – e.g., ticket request, intercom or user dialog.
In our aim to make the parking business more convenient for our customers, the new DESIGNA IN/OUT devices will definitely reduce the hassle for parking customers.
DESIGNA has decided to change the entire technology platform to a single board computer and the first versions in vQ1/2 2020 will be deployed with a substantial set of features to successfully run a contemporary parking management system. The main supported use cases are driven by the core applications to handle transient and monthly parkers plus congress/event tickets. The operate-oriented use cases cover, for example, the core I/O check, handling blacklists and graylists, along with entrance and exit via LPR. The pay-oriented use cases include important pay methods, such as credit cards, couponing, or the rate module.
